Your subconscious mind is the most powerful piece of equipment in your body. It is more powerful than we even know as it is so difficult to test and measure it’s capabilities.
However more and more psychologists and scientists are recording information and we are learning more and more about the potential of our subconscious mind.
For instance it is now widely believed that the subconscious mind accounts for 90% of the processing power in your mind – the 10% is our conscious mind where we think, learn, and consciously process. Our subconscious processes information constantly, it also stores our thoughts, memories, and information we pick up every day. It acts as a filter – only giving your conscious mind information it actively needs and filtering the rest out. It also controls all your bodily functions – i.e. you do not need to consciously try to breathe, control your heart rate, or your digestive system. All of these functions and more are controlled by your unconscious mind.
If we were able to consciously control our subconscious then we could maybe tap into some extra brain power, raise our consciousness. Or even on a small scale increase our focus, productivity, ability to learn, and much more.
Repetition of Positive Phrases
There is in fact a way you can gain access to your subconscious mind. This is through new new method of positive inner talk. This is a simple idea in that you repeat phrases to yourself over and over in order to make changes to your unconscious mind.
Inner talk may sound too good to be true. However, by repeating positive phrases to yourself over and over again they will sink into your unconscious mind and make changes from within. Although it won’t happen straight away it will have a cumulative effect. The more you do it the more messages you will receive and the more they will build in the brain and slowly start to become your reality.
These are known simply as positive affirmations. They are statements you repeat to yourself with the aim of taking over the negative patterns of thinking within and replacing them for positive beliefs, and to acquire a positive way of speaking to yourself naturally.
Get Started Now
Think of a few positive statements for areas you want to improve in and repeat them to yourself when you wake up, and before you go to sleep.
These positive statements can have a profound effect if used gradually and consistently. It becomes normal for you to hear positive things about yourself, and to speak to yourself positively. No matter what, you are getting a little bit of positivity each day, and this can do wonders to transform your self beliefs, your ego, and how you see yourself on a deeper level.
