This post marks the end of a short spell about visualization – these visualization and mental imaging techniques have been used by some of the most successful people in the world – read the following quotes from some of these people and put the power of visualization to use in your own life!

“Visualization is daydreaming with a purpose.”
– Bo Bennett

“Ordinary people believe only in the possible. Extraordinary people visualize not what is possible or probable, but rather what is impossible. And by visualizing the impossible, they begin to see it as possible.” – Cherie Carter-Scott

“See things as you would have them be instead of as they are.” – Robert Collier

“I am thought. I can see what the eyes cannot see. I can hear what the ears cannot hear. I can feel what the heart cannot feel.” – Peter Nivio Zarlenga

“Visualization and belief in a pattern of reality activates the creative power of realization.” – A. L. Linall, Jr.

“Surely there is grandeur in knowing that in the realm of thought, at least, you are without a chain; that you have the right to explore all heights and depth; that there are no walls nor fences, nor prohibited places, nor sacred corners in all the vast expanse of thought.” – Robert Green Ingersoll

“Nimble thought can jump both sea and land.”
– William Shakespeare

“Imagination gives you the picture. Vision gives you the impulse to make the picture your own.”
– Robert Collier

“You must see your goals clearly and specifically before you can set out for them. Hold them in your mind until they become second nature.”
– Les Brown

“I visualize things in my mind before I have to do them. It’s like having a mental workshop.”
– Jack Youngblood

“Try out your ideas by visualizing them in action.”
– David Seabury

“My method is different. I do not rush into actual work. When I get a new idea, I start at once building it up in my imagination, and make improvements and operate the device in my mind. When I have gone so far as to embody everything in my invention, every possible improvement I can think of, and when I see no fault anywhere, I put into concrete form the final product of my brain.”
– Nikola Tesla

“We lift ourselves by our thought. We climb upon our vision of ourselves. If you want to enlarge your life, you must first enlarge your thought of it and of yourself. Hold the ideal of yourself as you long to be, always everywhere.”
– Orison Swett Marden

“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
– Antoine Saint-Exupéry

“The real trick is to make the moves in your head first, as a way of testing them out.”
– Juliene Berk

“See yourself confronting your fears in your mind’s eye and handling those fears like a champ.”
– Les Brown

“The whole idea is to enable you to see mentally the picture at all hours of the day.”
– Claude M. Bristol

“Ideas cross mountains, borders, and seas. They go anywhere a man can go.”
– The Houston Times

“I would give all the wealth of the world, and all the deeds of all the heroes, for one true vision.”
– Henry David Thoreau

“Everyone takes the limits of his own vision for the limits of the world.”
– Arthur Schopenhauer

50-cent-50-lawsWhen I read this it made me squint in disbelief. Superstar rapper 50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson has been working with Robert Green to create a new book based on Robert’s work.

For those of you unfamiliar with Robert Greene he wrote the original and classic book The 48 Laws Of Power. It became a best seller, and gained popularity in the rap community / “on the street”. So now 50 Cent has teamed up with Robert to make The 50th Law which will combine Robert’s classic theories on success and power and 50 Cent’s street upbringing and how he used the things he learnt and applied them into business and a corporate structure.

When I first heard about this I laughed and scoffed at the idea of 50 Cent writing such a book, but after a little contemplation i think its highly commendable. There is no doubt that 50 Cent has made a success of himself, he has had 2 multi platinum selling albums, started his own record label, and is now branching into movies, and… obviously writing books 🙂

He 50 Cent can use his influence over the kids in the types of neighbourhoods he grew up in and get them interested in making a success of their lives and away from the gang culture, then it can only be a good thing.

I have not read the book, but if you have please leave a comment below, I would love to hear what people have made of it, Amazon currently does not have any reviews.

p.s. you can also see Robert Greene’s original work here: The 48 Laws of Power

winston-churchill-cigar-quotes“It is a good thing for an uneducated man to read books of quotations. – Winston Churchill.

Success is not rocket science – the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people in any field is simply down to their beliefs and state of mind. Fortunately there have been 1000s of highly successful people in our lifetime, which have been highly documented. One of them being Winston Churchill, the war-time primeminister of Britain. He had a unique look at the world – one full of optimism, drive, passion, and action.

Take what you can from the quotes below, gain a glimpse into the mind of a great leader, see how you are different, and see how you can change and succeed in life…

  • A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.
  • Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.
  • A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject.
  • All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.
  • Continuous effort – not strength or intelligence – is the key to unlocking our potential.
  • Battles are won by slaughter and maneuver. The greater the general, the more he contributes in maneuver, the less he demands in slaughter.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.
  • Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities… because it is the quality which guarantees all others.
  • Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things.
  • I am certainly not one of those who need to be prodded. In fact, if anything, I am the prod.
  • I never worry about action, but only about inaction.
  • I’m just preparing my impromptu remarks.
  • If the human race wishes to have a prolonged and indefinite period of material prosperity, they have only got to behave in a peaceful and helpful way toward one another.
  • Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.
  • Difficulties mastered are opportunities won.
  • If you are going through hell, keep going.
  • In the course of my life, I have often had to eat my words, and I must confess that I have always found it a wholesome diet.
  • If we open a quarrel between past and present, we shall find that we have lost the future.
  • I am easily satisfied with the very best.
  • I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.
  • No crime is so great as daring to excel.
  • Never, never, never give up.
  • History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.
  • History is written by the victors.
  • I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else.

Above all Churchill enjoyed life, and had a great sense of humor, ill leave you with one of his most famous quotes:

Lady Astor: “You Sir, are a drunk!”

Winston Churchill: “I may be drunk Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly.”

Here is a timeline of Abraham Lincolns efforts, sucesses and failures in life. He is a shining example to persistence, and determination.

Lincoln suffered defeat after defeat, he survived heartbreak, bankrupcy, and a nervous breakdown, events that most people experience one of al it scars their life and holds them back. Not Lincoln, he could have quit 100s of times – but he didn’t and eventually he became one of the greatest American presidents in history.

  • 1831: He experienced his first failure in business.
  • 1832: He ran for state legislature and lost.
  • 1832: He lost his job, and also wanted to go to law school but he could not get in.

  • 1835: His sweetheart died and he was devastated.
  • 1836: He had a nervous breakdown and stayed in bed for 6 months.
  • 1838: He campaigned to be the speaker of the state legislature and was defeated.

Tiger Wood’s father Earl Woods had a background of a degree in Psychology and Sociology, and also underwent military Special Forces training – he knew the power of the mind!

Earl was extremely influential in Tiger’s early life; he gave him the head-start he needed to be hugely successful in golf.

From a very young age Earl made his son watch motivational videos and coached him on how to keep his focus – even creating distractions while he was playing golf to test him!

When Tiger was only six years old he asked his father for a subliminal tape. Even at this young age Tiger knew the secret to success – that his mind must be trained to peak condition in order to become the greatest golfer in history.

He listened to the subliminal tape every day, feeding his mind a steady diet of positive affirmations. This helped him to align his mind to his goals, to focus on success, and block any negativity out of his mind.

It didn’t stop there, he also posted the affirmations to his bedroom wall. Both consciously and subconsciously he was receiving the same high quality affirmations – affirmations such as “My power is great”  “I smile at obstacles!”,” “I believe in me” “I focus and give it my all”. Before long all of these beliefs became deeply embedded in his subconscious mind. He really began to believe them, and this strong belief led him to make them a reality.

By the time he was in second grade, Tiger was known across the USA in the golfing world. Today he is regarded as the most highly skilled golfer who ever lived. However he is still humble, he has not abandoned the subliminal messages or the mind training. He also uses a lot of positive visualization – he always imagines the ball going down the hole. He pictures this and nothing else when he steps up to take a swing. No other mental images are allowed into his mind. He only focuses on success – and that is exactly what he gets!

Upon winning the Western Open in an interview with magazine USA TODAY he said “The biggest thing is to have the mind-set and the belief you can win every tournament going in”.

We have developed a unique subliminal golf program, the messages on our album are not for general success, but SPECIFICALLY designed to improve your golf skills, and focus.
