Subliminal Hypnosis

This article is a quick introduction to subliminal hypnosis. There is some confusion as to what this exactly is as subliminal messaging and hypnosis are 2 different forms of mind programming. Firstly lets give definitions of these 2 different terms:

Hypnosis: Is the act of putting someone into a a trance-like state; a state in which they have a heightened suggestibility, do not have the ability to think critically / logically, and access can be gained to the subconscious mind. This is usually done by a hypnotist / psychologist through the use of commands, tone of voice and subtle suggestions. Indeed, hypnosis can be a really powerful form of personal development!
Subliminal Messaging: Also gains access to the subconscious mind and bypasses the logical thinking function to implant suggestions into someone’s mind – however there is no trance-like state, and the person will be unaware of the subliminal messages – all the messages are beyond the limits of human perception – typically embedded in music.

So.. just what is subliminal hypnosis?

Now these terms are defined individually it’s time to describe subliminal hypnotherapy, but the lines are still a little blurry, and it is actually a term which means different things to different people.

tv-subliminal-hypnosis Officially subliminal hypnosis is the phenomenon where you enter a mini trance like state without your knowledge, i.e. subliminally. This might sound magical, but it happens to us all the time – we are always going in and out of various states of consciousness. A very common example is when we sit down to watch television. We become engrossed in the program and enter a mild trance. We are unaware of our surroundings to an extent, and if we are particularly engrossed we may not properly register a question someone asks us in real life, or there may be a delay in our response.

Also, if an advert can put you into a mini trance then it will be much more effective. Typically tv advertisements will be LOUDER than the actual program you have been watching – this firstly snaps you out of your mini trance, and also focuses you on the advert. Then, through various techniques of music, flashing lights, colours, or by overloading the senses they attempt to put you into another mini trance – basically they want your full attention, and if your senses are dulled and you are only focusing on the advert then this is better for them.

Although the above is the official definition, in modern times, with the increase in the use of both hypnosis and subliminals it has actually begun to be used as a way of referring to either pure hypnosis or subliminal messaging. This is not technically correct, but it is just a form of slang which has evolved – and quite frankly can be confusing as when people ask us about our subliminal hypnosis albums we have to clearly say what our albums do and don’t do.

As the first definition our albums are pure subliminal messaging – this has both advantages and disadvantages over pure hypnosis – basically it is more gradual, but it won’t out you into a trance, which means you can make consistent changes to your mind as you go about your day or exercise etc.

Never Qualifies Himself: The alpha male makes no apologies, he doesn’t explain his behavior. he is completely comfortable in his own skin so he doesn’t need to. They don’t boast about their success or try and prove anything – again they don’t need to; they assume you will like them simply because other people do, but they don’t care if you don’t – they won’t chase after you for your validation, they don’t care.

Talks Slow: Notice when you talk to someone you look up to you will talk faster – Talking fast is a way to qualify yourself to someone – essentially you are scared they will stop listening or find some more interesting stimulous, so you get your point out quick so they will listen – it actually has the opposite effect, and it shows your lower status.

Doesn’t Look Around: He is the party and the focus of attention – he is unconcerned with what other people are doing.

Is The Focus of Attention: He is centrally positioned in the group, everyones body language faces him and is positive towards him – you can tell the alpha male of the group just by looking at them. Expect to be the focus and position yourself to be so, step up within your group and you will start to take on this dominant role.

Take The Glory: When you tell a funny joke they take it one further and steal the laugh, when you do something cool they congratualte you for it and give you their approval. When you have an idea they acknowledge it and add to it – giving their approval and tweaking the idea it becomes their own, and they get the credit for it.

Are Never Impressed: They can be self centered and unimpressed with the achievements of others. They are high achievers themselves and strive for success so they have seen it all before – it takes a lot, or a really high value to impress them – they have high standards on every level.

Enjoy a Challenge: They enjoy making friends with beta males, but with another alpha guy they often become “enemies”. The alpha male needs to be the alpha at all times and will compete with another male for the dominant position – if he is really the alpha male he will enjoy this opportunity.

Don’t Answer Questions: They often give a non-sensical or a basic response to questions you ask them where you are trying for conversation, trying to find common ground, or trying for report – by asking you to “guess” they are controling the frame and leading the interaction and keeping their alpha male status.

Don’t Care About You: they are self focused, you are there to entertain them, but they are above you – he believes world evolves around him and everyone is there to help him, entertain him or sleep with him – as he chooses.

Can Show A Nicer Side and Get Away With It: This goes back to not caring what people think. he can be nice / genuine / down to earth if he wants to and on the occasions that he is he gets even more credit for it – he isn’t a geek trying to be nice for validation, he is a cool guy who has a down to earth side sometimes.

Is Comfortable In His Own Skin: Ultimately he is comfortable within his own skin, this is one of the the main alpha male characteristics, and if you can be comfortable in your own skin then everything else will follow. He doesn’t care what people think, he is assertive enough to give his own opinion, and he is happy and confident in any situation.

This article gives an overview of the various disney subliminal messages but first of all it is important to have a basic understanding of subliminal messaging, so:

The word subliminal literally means “below threshold”. to elaborate on this it means that you are not aware of the message – it is below the threshold of your cocnscious perception. However you will still take the message in on some level as your subconscious mind processes it and stores this information still. Are there subliminal messages in Disney movies?

Yes, absoloutely!

Disney is notorious for using subliminal messages across its short animations, Tv series and movies. In fact it’s a tradition of studio and they use both subliminal and consciously visable subtle suggestions. it has got to just the point that when a new Disney films come out, subliminal message hunters compete to find the messages in these movies and post them on youtube and various blogs around the internet.

So Which Disney films use subliminal messages?

Lol, almost all of them!

The practice of including hidden messages goes right back to the early mickey mouse goofy short movie animations. it stated decades ago, and nearly all of their movies contain subliminal references to adult words, and even images. At the start of the movie when King Triton swoops down over the people, you can see Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy among the crowd.

There is also some suggestion that in the scene where Eric and Ursula are about to get married, the priest has an erection. However, there is equally as much suggestion that in fact what can be seen is merely his knee (this too has been edited out for modern DVD release):

On the subject of disney hidden messages and hidden erotica in Disney movies, we should mention the cover art for The Little Mermaid. Many people have commented that the tower looks rather phallic! The artist apparently fully intended for the tower to look like a penis, although when he had finished the cover, he realised that it was actually a bit too obvious. The artwork was sent for approval with the assumption that some changes would be required, but no such request was ever made and so the cover was released with a not-very-hidden phallus on it:

The Rescuers

Features two frames of an actual topless model. They are in the scene when Bernard and Bianca fly through the city – you can briefly see her in a window in the background if you freeze the frame:

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

There is a distinctly shot of Jessica Rabbit jumping out of a Taxi -and the subliminal image only lasts a couple of frames – but her skirt is open and it shows a nude womans legs open for just a second:

Also later in the film the home phone number of Disney Chief Executive Michael Eisner appears on a wall – but this has apparantly been edited out of modern DVD releases.

Aladdin

On the scene where Aladin is trying to reach Jasmin outside her balcony you can hear Aladdin say “Good teenagers take off your clothes” quite quickly. You can watch these Aladdin subliminal messages here.

The Lion King

In the scene where Simba remembers his father on a cliff top the word “SEX” is formed in the clouds above his head:

Whilst Disney let many hidden messages go unchallenged in the cinema, however as controversy built and the messages were found by the pbulic they had to remove some of them for VHS and DVD releases.

However, we still get a lot of questions about this album range – mostly centered around the “is this all I need to learn Spanish?” type question? We answer this question every week – week in, week out 🙂

We always try to give an accurate description as possible about our albums, and show subliminal messaging in a down to earth light, so first and foremost it is important to say that NO – Using our album alone will NOT teach you Spanish / <insert desired language> on its own.

Our language learning CDs act simply as learning aids, which means that while they will not help you learn the language on its own, they will enhance the rate at which you are learning, and processing the language. You do still need to take classes or study the language in some way, but it will align your mind so that you can absorb the information easier.

Extreme Reactions To Subliminal CDs

Occasionally we get an email from someone who is experiencing a strong reaction to our albums – well, not really occasionally, but we have had aprox 3-4 people contact us in the last year with things such as dizziness, drowsiness, and even brief feelings of disorientation.

If you are experiencing such symptoms then it may be one of 2 things:

Perhaps that you are not best suited to subliminals, they may clash with how your brain is wired, or they may just be too strong a development tool for you and you may want to look for an alternative method which doesn’t directly target your subconscious mind in this way.
However, it may be that the album is really having an effect on you – that the messages are exactly what you need and they are going “head to head” to replace your existing negative thoughts and beliefs.

Either way you should proceed to listen, but perhaps not to the whole album in one sitting, just take it gently and listen to one or two tracks.

If the latter is the case then after a while you should feel less dizzy as the album starts to finally replace these negative beliefs and as you start to notice improvements in your life – once it has cleared out the bulk of the resistence then the album should work as normal, and you will probably feel a whole lot better, and as if you have taken a large step towards overcoming your problem.
